It all started many years ago

Laura Tibbetts, MIDCOAST BLOOMS founder, quit her job in corporate management and followed her inner-voice. For years she’d ignored the instinct and intuition and like many of us experience, she was one day done with the ignoring and began listening and following.

Her first floral business, WestWind Florals was born. She dreamed it and she did it.

Fast forward to a life on the midcoast

…where Laura observed a dire and growing need: Maine’s wedding economy was blooming. Flowers were and remain in demand and the supply insufficient. Laura’s background in high-pressure management and logistics offered a skill set she could apply to her new environment: wholesale floral distribution for her own growing business and for her industry colleagues.

To step-up-to the challenge and demand, MIDCOAST BLOOMS was conceived as an idea based on a gap, and today the steps are aligning to begin floral distribution through the midcoast of Maine starting in 2020!
